The LVMH group has owned the French luxury ready-to-wear and leather goods brand Celine since 1996. French fashion house Celine, founded in 1945 by Céline and Richard Vipiana, is known for its understated elegance and classic splendour. Celine began as a made-to-order children's shoe store on rue Malte in Paris, but it swiftly grew, branching out into ready-to-wear, footwear, leather goods, and fragrances.
