Designers Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Pansczczyk established AREA in downtown New York City in 2014 as a garment and accessory design business with a focus on superior construction, textile research, and creative decoration. AREA has gained a cult following since its debut thanks to their innovative and classic approach to beauty and glitz. AREA's distinctive aesthetic has several facets, including wit, innate glamour, playfully decadent, and pop vitality. The brand is inspired by a legendary Manhattan nightclub from the 1980s known for fusing arts and performances in conceptually-themed nights that drew a diverse range of locals from the uptown and downtown sectors as well as worldwide superstars.
